I have read somewhere, knowing yourself solves 99% of problems and this process itself is the hardest one. Guess what, this is the summary of my last years. The frustration, sadness, regret and unanswered questions. When there was no one, there were some pens, diaries along with me and yes, how can i forget- PINTEREST.
Let's come straight to the topic!

Creative practices teach me- Pain Is Universal
One thing about creative practices is, when you start them, you always find your way to see other's creations. The painters of Victorian era, the poetries of Amrita Pritam and doodles of our fellow Gen-zs. And guess what, you realize these emotions are not limited to you but to all humans who can feel.
Thus, slowly your question of WHY ME, GOD? starts to fade away. Creative practices open a portal for you where you finally validate your emotions especially pain by getting support from other people's work which originated from the same feelings which you are feeling right now. Hence, creative practices can influence you positively even before you start them.
Creative practices heal my guilt.
"Oh no! If I had reached there on time, I would be a group leader." "I misunderstood her." "I failed by 3 marks". Guilt is a critical feeling worse than heartbreak. Calm down and write a letter to you or make Johny with one big and one small circle with eyes and nose. Now express yourself. Suppressing guilt is more harmful than guilt itself. Having guilt? Let your sketchbook or journal know that. They never judge!
Creative practices are your best friends.
Remember your situation two weeks before? When your voice box was unable to express your feelings to your parents that you are feeling deceived by someone or even your friends didn't ask you more than 3 times that why are you silent today but your sketches, colours, pens, diaries and sketch book will always ask (no it's not haunting, if they are actually asking please leave your room right now>>>😂). They will not directly ask but your conscious mind will take you to them and your diary will not give you a word limit too. Go and express!
Creative practices are the best for self-reflection and self-expression.
Your Dreams!
Your Complaints!
Your views on sharma ji ka beta and his scores!
Mistakes!
Little Improvements!
Even Gossips!
Creative practices=Self-Love and Thanking God.
Self-Love and Gratitude always go side by side. When you create, you can do both together. Self-Love comes from regulating your feelings, connecting to your core, knowing your triggers and watching your little steps towards self-developent. Along with this, you keep doing "SHUKRANA".
Here are some more points if you are still not convinced:
●These practices are almost free and easily available as compare to Therapy.
●No Judgements.
●Honoring the truth.
●Exercise of your brain and mind.
●Development of self-confidence.
●Getting clarity.
●Entertainment.
